RANTOUL — Several downtown businesses will host their first Holiday Shop and Hop event from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8.

Lindsey Lane Bridal will host several vendors, including JBLOOM Jewelry by Lora Keyes, Heart ‘N Soap by Melinda Carpenter, baked goods by Donna (Cissna Park-Farmers Market), Tupperware by Angel Wines, Ms. B’s (Melinda Shafer-fleece, florals), Knit Wit Creations by Chuck Peterson, Mary Kay by Martha King and Pink Zebra (melting waxes) by Amanda Jester.

Shoppers will be able to stop by Anywhere, Anytime Journeys Travel Agency (inside Lindsey Lane) for hot beverages, including a hot chocolate bar.

Santa will be available for photos at A House of Flowers by Paula from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

There will be discounted Christmas items at Whistle Stop Resale shop, discounts at the Friends booth and perhaps an opportunity to pick up an apple dumpling. With every purchase, customers will be entered into a gift basket raffle.

After visiting downtown Rantoul, shoppers can head to St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church on West Grove Avenue for its annual bazaar.

Also open that day: Gordyville flea market and Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch.
