David E. Bialeschki, 64, of Urbana, father of a Rantoul resident, died Thursday, May 16, 2013.Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at the Church of Christ in St. Joseph, 226 E. Sherman St.Mr. Bialeschki was born Feb. 11, 1949, in Urbana, a son of Ed and Norma Bialeschki.

James R. Finegan, 87, of rural Danforth, father of a Rantoul resident, died at 10:35 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Iroquois Memorial Hospital, Watseka, following a short illness.

Timothy L. Flinchum, 53, of Rantoul died Friday, May 17, 2013, at Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.A memorial gathering of celebration will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at Sunset’s Oakwood Chapel. Cremation rites will be accorded.  

James R. “Jack” Hutchison, 97, of Sebring, Fla., a former Paxton resident, died at 9:28 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Good Shepherd Hospice, Sebring, Fla.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells St., Paxton with the Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Glenn Kingston, 78, of Ludlow died at 9:45 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at ASTA Care Center of Ford County, Paxton.Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton, with a private burial service at Glen Cemetery, Paxton.Mr. Kingston was born Jan. 6, 1935, in Ludlow, a son of Otis R. and Thelma Price Kingston.  

Frederick Lux, 90, of Rantoul died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at home.Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 E. Grove Ave., Rantoul

A memorial service will be held for Cheri Greider McDowell at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at  Church of the Nazarene, 603 E. Grove Ave, Rantoul. The Rev. Michael Curtis will officiate.A small reception will follow the service.

Dean R. Mook, 52, of Paxton died at 12:10 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.A memorial service will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at Bourbonnais Municipal Center, 700 Main NW, Bourbonnais.Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton, is in charge of arrangements. 

Charles D. Phillips, 72, of Urbana, formerly of Rantoul, died Wednesday evening, May 22, 2013, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.Per his request, he will be cremated, and private services will be conducted. He will be inurned at Maplewood Cemetery, Rantoul, near his parents and brother, Roy.Lux Memorial Chapel, Rantoul, is in charge of arrangements.

Elizabeth “Liz” Sexson, 75, of Rantoul died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at at Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, at American Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Rantoul. The Rev. Jeffray Greene will officiate. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston.

Colin Shields, 37, of Kirksville, Mo., formerly of Rantoul, died Thursday, May 9, 2013, at home.Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy. 

Gary F. Silsbee, 65, of Rantoul died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.He asked that there be no funeral services.Mr. Silsbee was born June 25, 1947, in Kankakee, a son of the Kenneth and Elinore (St. Pierre) Silsbee. He married Cindy Curtis April 16, 1987. She survives.

Frances V. Walsh, 96, formerly of Rantoul, died March 11, 2013, in Hawaii.Mrs. Walsh was born April 14, 1916, in Memphis, a daughter of Frank and Lena Bailey. She married Bill Walsh July 27, 1940, in Kankakee. He preceded her in death Feb. 1, 1983.

Dena M. Wells, 67, of Rantoul died at 5:17 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at Kirby Funeral Home, 708 S. Main St., Homer, with the Rev. Ken Crawford officiating. Burial will be in GAR Cemetery, Homer.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
