They were freezin' for a good reason

There they were, with badges and everything. Rantoul’s police department participated in Saturday’s Polar Plunge at Lake of the Woods, Mahomet, to raise money for Special Olympics. Five representatives of the Rantoul Police Department participated.

Also there were contingents from Rantoul and Fisher high schools.

Nearly 30 people representing Rantoul Township High School participated in Saturday’s Polar Plunge. They raised close to $3,000.

Students included Tevin Rodgers, Paxton Palumbo, Janet Napoli, CJ Dunner, Chris Deaville, Cheyenne Thompson, Harley Denny, Mikayla Medlen, Greg Morrow, Arin Bishop, Kalista Lutes, Dalton Williams, Cody Tatar, Brianna Tatar, Allison Jordahl, Victoria Walker, Kimmie Schwartz and Onessia Washington

Adults and staff included Joel Kukuck, Alan Weldon, Alex Johnson, Ryan Kerr, Michelle Tatar, Emily Weller, Amanda Loveless, Andrew Stephenson and Jason Thorn
