Rantoul church to host grief support group

A grief support group for people dealing with loss will be held on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, from 5:30-7 p.m. beginning Feb. 20 at Rantoul First United Methodist Church.

Group leader will be the Rev. Carol Lakota Eastin, who describes the loss of her son as  “the most profound spiritual journey of my life.”

Lakota Eastin has had experience in both individual and group counseling during her work as a pastoral counselor for BroMenn Counseling and for the Peoria Pastoral Counseling Center.

This group is open to any adults dealing with the loss of a loved one.

“Remember, there is no time limit on grief,” Lakota Eastin said.  “Whether your loss is recent or not, you are welcome to join us on this journey of healing.”

Call the church office at 217-892-2130 for more information and to register.
