Three from Rantoul team earn Special Olympics gold medals

Three members of the Rantoul Crusaders Special Olympics team earned a gold medal in their division in the basketball skills competition Jan. 19 at Bradley-Bourbonnais High School, Bradley.

The three, Jabril Donald, Jerrance Crites and Cameron Stewart, will compete at the state level the weekend of March 15-17 at Illinois State University in Normal.

Two other athletes from Rantoul Crusaders — Bryan Paris and Jack Bolser — were unable to compete due to illness or other commitment.
