Fisher High School Hall of Fame nominations sought

FISHER — The Fisher Community Foundation  is soliciting nominees for its annual Fisher High School Hall of Fame for 2013.

This is a formal program to recognize the achievements of Fisher High School alumni and to link the alumni with current Fisher High School students

Recipients of the honor are selected from the names of individual nominees submitted to the foundation board of directors.

As a part of receiving the honor, the recipients have the opportunity to return to the high school in April to speak with Fisher High School students about their personal  and professional experiences and accomplishments. They also attend the Fisher High School alumni banquet on the following evening to speak with the alumni of the high school.

Criteria for nomination and selection to the Fisher High School Hall of Fame include:  A Fisher High School Graduate, achievements in their career field, a willingness to tell of their experiences with current Fisher High School students,  contributions to society, positive contributions as a role model, and recognition by their peers.

To submit a nomination, forward at letter describing why the nominee should be honored by the Fisher High School Hall of Fame and a list of personal/professional accomplishments to The Fisher Community Foundation, PO Box 636, Fisher, IL 61843 by March 1.
