URBANA — A Fisher man charged with stealing from other Fisher residents is due back in court Dec. 11.

John Morris, 18, was charged in Champaign County Circuit Court Nov. 5 with residential burglary for allegedly entering a home in the 500 block of South Second Street Nov. 1 and stealing insulin syringes and prescription medication.

He was also charged with burglary for allegedly stealing a wallet from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of South Second.

A Fisher police report said police developed Morris as a suspect, and when they interviewed him, he admitted to those two burglaries as well as recent others in the village.

Morris is being held in the county jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.

If convicted of the more serious offense of residential burglary, he faces a mandatory prison term of between four and 15 years.
