Circulation Coordinator

Help News-Gazette Media with its weekly and daily newspaper circulation. Part-time coordinators move, stack and help load newspaper bundles onto trucks and vehicles at 3202 Apollo Drive, Champaign IL for delivery to the consumer.

Applicants must have:

** Shifts start at 1:00am

** Hours may range from 4 hours to 8 hours a

day; 5 shifts per week; averaging 25

hours a week

** Excellent attendance required

** Driver's license, good driving record,

and insurable

** Capable of operating a pallet jack

** Lifting maximum of 25# of newspapers,

bundled

** Standing, lifting, bending, turning and walking

safely, continuously, for several hours

** Weekend work will be required.

Starting pay is $9/hr. Benefits include

Police Services Representative

The Rantoul Police Department is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Police Services Representative (PSR). Under general direction, this employee receives and makes phone calls, assists other law enforcement and governmental agencies, and transfers calls for service to METCAD dispatch as appropriate. They will monitor Police Radio frequency and respond to Police Officer requests for information and assistance according to established procedures. In addition, they perform data entry into several computer databases.

This position requires knowledge, skill, and intellectual development equivalent to the completion of four years of high school. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of police and fire policies, procedures, and terminology. In addition, they should have a working knowledge of police records systems, radio and phone equipment, and computer terminal operation and application.

The annual starting salary is $39,375+, dependent on qualifications, plus a competitive benefits package. Residency within twenty miles of the Village's corporate limits within six months of completing the six month probationary period is required.
