Krause to be featured at Bellflower opry

BELLFLOWER — Chris Krause will perform at the Bellflower Country Opry at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 18.

Krause sings classic country and gospel.

A ham dinner will be served beginning at 5 p.m. until show time.

They're back! Rantoul Theatre Group to stage 'Crazy Ladies'



RANTOUL — Rantoul Theatre Group, which lost its building last year, is alive and well and will present its first production post-Grissom Hall Theatre.

“The Crazy Ladies in the House on the Corner,” a comedy by Pat Cook, will be presented at 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 14-15 and 21-22, at J.W. Eater Junior High, 400 Wabash Ave.


RTHS Homecoming 2014: A Trip To The Cinema

The Rantoul Township High School homecoming festivities were held last Friday and Saturday. The FFA float was the big winner of the parade, and seniors Thomas Wolken and Anna Ramme were named homecoming king and queen.

Cast selected for RTG's "The Silver Queen"

Director Larry Smith and assistant director Jack Bice have chosen the cast for the upcoming Rantoul Theatre Group spring 2014 production of James Dedman’s  “The Silver Queen.”


Cast members come from Rantoul, Thomasboro, Champaign, and Urbana.

Musical spy spoof 'Sympathy Jones' opens Friday in Paxton

PAXTON — Paxton Market Street Theatre will be the setting for “Sympathy Jones, The New Secret Agent Musical,” to be presented by Tri-County Players in late July.

The musical is a spoof of the spy world of the 1960s.
